Candle Care & Safety
Trim the wick to approximately ¼ inch before each lighting. For the first burn, aim to let the wax melt toward the edges of the tin—around two hours—provided the flame remains steady and the candle is burning safely. Never leave a burning candle unattended or burn it for more than four hours at a time. Place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, children, pets, and anything that can catch fire. The tin may become hot; let it cool completely before touching or moving it. Stop using the candle when approximately ½ inch of wax remains. If the flame becomes unusually high or the candle smokes or flares, extinguish it immediately and do not relight it until the cause has been addressed.
